Game Day, Where You Should Be

10/20/2017

Parents, players, and coaches all have a designated area at our games.  Our field marshals have seen a lot of folks in the wrong places the last few weeks.

Only coaches wearing the current season KidSafe badge and players are allowed between the fields.  No siblings, parents, former players, or any other spectators should be on the player/coach side of the field.  You can see the areas marked in red below:

Parents, siblings, and all other spectators need to be on the opposite side of the field (not the end of the field or on the player/coach side).  Please observe the spectator lines at your field.  The grass fields have a dashed or broken line painted and the Turf fields at VPAC have a yellow line.  You and everything you bring to the game (children, pets, chairs, umbrellas, etc) should be behind that line.  Please see photos below for example:

The city has also painted some new lines on Patriot and Ranger at VPAC this season. These dashed or broken lines show coaches and players where they should be during their games.  This gives the players on the field and the referees plenty of space to play/work.  All players, coaches, equipment, snacks, drinks, etc should be behind the line.  There is an end to the line just before midfield to remind coaches that they need to stay in their end of the field.  The end of the line in the other direction is the furthest coaches should go toward the goal line on their end of the field.  Please see photo for example below:
