Players: 3 players from each team on the field. This division is a coed team. NO GOALKEEPER ALLOWED
Roster size: Up to 6 players.
Ball size: Number 3.
Goal Size: Approximately 4ft x 6ft
Field Size: 15-20 yards wide x 20-30 yards long
Time: (4) 8-minute quarters, 2 minutes between quarters and 5-minute halftime. No stoppage of running game clock.
Playing Time: Each player will play at least half of each game unless unable to due to illness, injury or for disciplinary reasons.
Spectators: Coaches and parents are prohibited from the area behind the goal line. Coaches should encourage parents to remain in the spectator area
noted on the field map and are responsible for the sportsmanship of the team's parents. No one should ever yell disparaging remarks at the opposing team or referees at any time.
Referees: One adult will act as referee for the game. Coaches may enter field to help position players, but try to stay on the sidelines as much as
possible.
Linesperson: The referee will call line violations.
Substitutions: A team is allowed to substitute players at any stoppage of play.
Goalkeeper: No goalkeeper nor sweeper/keeper in the goal area.
Crease Rule: An arch of 4 feet radius outside the goal will be marked on the fields and will represent the area where a player may not be motionless. Any
player inside this area must be actively engaged with the ball. Penalty: An end line throw in by the other team.
Offside: There is no offside.
Penalty kicks: (from 12 yards directly in front of the goal): There are no penalty kicks.
Direct free kick: (ball may be kicked directly into goal): There are no direct free kicks.
Indirect free kick: (ball must touch another player before entering the goal): All fouls (e.g., excessive pushing, tripping or hand ball fouls) will be penalized with an indirect free kick.
Corner/Goal kicks: There are no corner or goal kicks. Restarts are by throw-in at the point where the ball went out-of-bounds of the soccer playing field.
Throw-ins: Players will have both feet on the ground on or behind the touchline (sideline). The ball is thrown from behind and over the head. The thrower may not touch the ball until it has touched another player. The referee will enforce these rules by encouraging proper technique and having offending players
re-throw as many times as necessary.
Uniforms\Equipment: All players must wear shin guards, soccer cleats and soccer socks to all practices and games. Shirts must be worn tucked in. Socks must be worn over the shinguards. No cleats on toes of shoes (like baseball shoes).
Practices: One practice per week is allowed. Practices are no more than 45 minutes long.
